Webtree Authoring has undertaken several major projects and many more minor projects. These include:
The JRM system is a complete repairs management system for the jewellery market. This system is designed to provide end to end tracking for all repairs in a jewellers shop. From the customer entering the shop with the item, (or stock item damage), the article is logged and tracked for every stage of its repair until it is back with the customer. The system then reports on costs, profits, item breakdown by month, by staff member, or by item type. The system has many enquiry features for viewing different subsets of the available data about customers, repairs, items and outworkers.
The system was developed in partnership with the jewellery industry and is customized to their needs. It automatically produces all the documentation required for items to be passed out to outworkers, receipts for customers, and other reports etc.
The system has many other features which make it the ideal solution for automating the management of repairs systems in any size of jeweller, from the small individual retailer up to large chain stores where the system can be networked and centralised with slave terminals on the shop floor.

The Extranet project was to develop a secure, reliable system to allow remote employees, salespersons in the field and select customers access to a range of systems and information from within the corporate network, without exposing the system to potential risk from the open Internet. The system developed was a custom security shell within which all the gadgets could run to facilitate access to the various systems within the corporate network. This included blueprint files, the quotation system, product lookup system and many other features which provided a central resource for accessing many disparate resources. The system also provides for current news to be posted, and new features and gadgets can be easily added to allow new information to become available when required.
The system has a built in security management infrastructure based in SQL Server which allows the system administrators to control access and set different levels of access for different users depending on the rights they hold.

The PCS system was developed for an American business which has plants across the continental US. They required a custom Production Control System to monitor, control and assist in factory floor operations. This system had to manage all aspects of the factory floor process from receiving the initial materials into stock, through to the final shipping of the completed parts to the customer. The system produced all the relevant paperwork, followed the production cycle, and provided audit trails by serial number for parts as to where and when they were processed and by who. A photo gallery of parts was produced, and was synchronised with the centralised parts database to ensure that the workers could always identify the oarts they were working with accurately and quickly to reduce the risk of mistakes or errors.
